International Opera Academy
The manifold coaching elements of our production will be inspired by the vision of Jeunesses Musicales: Highest artistic authenticity, love for quality without compromise and a teamspirit of mutual friendship.
International quality level
Our Young Opera is being acknowledged „the most renowned European promotion project for young opera newcomers“ (Cologne press). Under the baton of an internationally profiled conductor of the younger generation young singers, selected talents from all over the world are rehearsing with an outstanding national or international youth orchestra.
A perfect work of art
In an opera, all the arts are combined in harmony and perfection. This idea is leading our production. On behalf of the soloists it means: the training of the vocal abilities is being matched by in intense dramatic stage performance. Everyone gets a part of a breathtaking young production.
You already benefit from participating. in the auditions, which we combine with a workshop. The final auditions will grant you a valuable orientation. All solistic
parts will have a double cast in the production. In our auditions and during performances opera managers and directors are watching in order to complete their perception of the „market“. Many a young talent got their first engagement right on the spot. Having participated in the Weikersheim Opera Academy is always a credit point in your starting career.
